Standard temporary fence dimensions

The standard Heras temporary fences are about 3.5 metres wide and 2 metres high. These fences are used to fence off the largest lengths of a site.

Our city fences have a standard size of about 2.2 metres wide and 2 metres high. These fences obstruct the view of the site and create a more attractive appearance. Especially when there are a lot of valuable items on the site, our city fences offer a solution.

Then, of course, we have crowd control barriers. The crowd barriers vary in width from 2.3 metres to 2.5 metres and are all 1.1 metre high.

Site dimensions

So, standard temporary fences have a dimension of 3.5 metres wide. However, a site can never be perfectly divided by 3.5 metres. If you are going to install temporary fencing, it is therefore wise to buy extra temporary fencing. In many cases, extra fencing is also needed on the  site itself, for example to protect a loose compartment.
